This course helps you learn basic Dutch for everyday conversations.
You will practise speaking in practical situations such as introducing yourself, shopping, travelling, visiting the doctor, and talking about your home and neighbourhood.
By the end of the course, you will feel more confident using simple Dutch in daily life.

In this course, you will learn how to have a conversation in:
Lesson 1 – Introducing yourself
You will learn how to introduce yourself, say who you are, and ask simple personal questions.
Lesson 2 – Doing groceries
You will learn how to have a simple conversation in a shop or supermarket, ask for products, and talk about prices.
Lesson 3 – Asking how someone is
You will learn how to ask how someone is feeling, respond to that question, and use simple everyday greetings.
Lesson 4 – Talking about food
You will learn how to talk about food and drinks, say what you like, and have a simple conversation about eating.
Lesson 5 – Talking about your home
You will learn how to describe your house or room and ask simple questions about where someone lives.
Lesson 6 – Using public transport
You will learn how to ask for travel information, talk about trains and buses, and understand simple transport conversations.
Lesson 7 – Visiting the doctor
You will learn how to explain simple health problems, make an appointment, and understand basic questions from a doctor.
Lesson 8 – Talking about your neighbourhood
You will learn how to describe your neighbourhood, ask where places are, and talk about facilities nearby.
